The training of teachers

(1)The construction of teachers' team in physics department has taken tea teaching and research into consideration. In order to improve the whole standard, we have not only accepted and trained teachers , but invited guest professors over the world．

A． Training of available teachers．The teachers that work and teach in the first-line teaching must achieve postgraduate background. Every year, we intend to assign one or two young teachers to release from work to advance their knowledge.

B． Accepting teachers. In physics , we mainly accept teachers with doctorate degree. In electronic and information department, we accept faculty either with doctorate degree or master degree.

C． In order to improve the teachers' scientific research and teaching standard, we have invited some guest professors with great fame to give academic speech.

(2) The mechanism and measures have been applied to improve the ability of young faculty. We have made rules to reward young teachers for their excellent teaching once a year. To the winner, we give them some rewards, we put on six public lessons every semester, and organize experienced professors to discuss the lessons and direct the young teachers. Axperienced teachers are appointed to guide young teachers for their teaching and research. These measures have made the young teachers used to their work and received good effect. They can undertake teaching of undergraduates without help. We have planed to assigned some young teachers to study further and to get higher degree.
